Over the summer break and into March we undertook what originally was going to be the office and decided why stop now!
So we kept going and undertook a few renovations to brighten and freshen the office, umpires room, lounge area with carpets cleaned and control room ready for the season.
The sound system in the control room will be placed by the window of the control room for ease of use and to improve the quality of the communications.
Fresh paint was applied and the removal of old furniture has made way for more modern, clean and simplified functional spaces.
The leak in the East end wall has been repaired to remove any future water leakages in this area.
Sections of the old carpet have been removed and this area was going to be retiled, but looks like we may be able to do the whole lounge area - just waiting from confirmation. Exciting times!
Still a few things to do yet, so the Pavilion is still out of bounds at this stage 9/3 unless prior arrangement is made with the office.
We could not have done this without the generous donations of so many organisations and these will be listed below, and utlised our current paint stock. Fantastic result all round.
