Facilities at Tauranga Hockey Centre, Blake Park, Mt Maunganui

3 x water turfs - situated east to west - Moana|Ocean (adjacent to Blake Park/Bay Oval), then Tahatai|Coast (in the middle) and Whanga|Harbour (adjacent to Totara Street) 

- 6 x changing rooms with toilets and showers. 

​​​​​​​Parking: free on-site and street parking. Please respect any signage advising restricted parking.

Motor Homes: Tauranga Hockey does not have any parking for motor homes within the facility. Tauranga City rules apply for freedom camping and can be viewed here click here

Dogs: Dogs are allowed on leash, but must stay on grassed areas.

No smoking or vaping allowed inside the fences.

Tauranga Traffic: if you are travelling between Tauranga city side and Mt Maunganui please note that the harbour bridge traffic can be significant at peak commuting times. Totara Street from the Tauranga Hockey Centre can back up past the Hockey Centre. At its peak, it can take 30 - 45 minutes to get from the Hockey Centre, up Totara Street to Hewletts Road traffic lights to turn right on to the harbour bridge. Non-peak is 5 - 10 minutes. Hewletts Road frequently backs up as do the harbour bridge approaches on both sides. Tauranga is no longer a sleepy regional town!
