The U16 Tournament is an opportunity for players to finish the season in style. It allows them to play and test themselves against teams from the Northern region.

Team Selection

The Tournament has opportunities for players of all abilities. Tauranga Hockey is intending to send teams for the following grades.

11-a-side selected competitive teams for year 10/11 students

11-a-side and 5-aside mixed ability teams for Year 9/10/11 students​​​​​​​

* Year 12 students who turn 16 on or after January 1 2024 will be considered for this Tournament on a case-by-case basis.

Eligibility

The Northern Region Tournament is open to all players in year 9/10/11 who are under 16 on or after the 1st of January 2024

* Year 12 students who turn 16 on or after January 1 2024 will be considered for this Carnival on a case by case basis.
